Mix the velvet inks with other acrylics to achieve colors that are easier to blend thanks to the transparency and satin finish. They’ll also be more vibrant and saturated and they will also flow easier from the brush. Experiment with mixes to change the properties of other paints was if they were a medium.

Dilute a lot, then pass over the surface, allowing it to settle. Keep brushing the color to direct it where you want it until it dries

Dilute the velvet ink, pick it up with the brush, discharge the excess of water in a paper and then pass it over a previously painted area to change the tone or over a neutrally painted area (for example, a black and white preshading) to color it transparently.

Use a very diluted color at the tip of the brush to create nuances and chromatic modulations, for example, on a skin tone. Don’t let the color pool and do more than one passage for optimal results.

Use the color just slightly diluted to achieve deep and intense shadows, the satin finish will further enhance the effect

Try Velvet in their pure form. Thanks to their concentration, you’ll have a coverage impossible with other inks, but it always maintains a certain degree of transparency, excellent, among other things, for black lining
